The meeting convened at 1:35 p.m.
Council present: Micah Cawley and Dave Ettl
Absent: Maureen Adkison
Staff Present: Sonya Claar Tee
1) Council members reviewed applications for Boards and Committees and made the
following recommendations:
Planning Commission — 1 vacancy [term expires 6130/18]
It was Committee consensus to interview five of the applicants.
• Parks & Recreation Commission — 3 vacancies (terms expire 6130116, 6130117 and
Youth 6/30/161
It was Committee consensus to recommend the Roger Lewis for appointment by the City
Council. The only other applicant, Michael Hayes, withdrew his application as he no
longer lives in Yakima.
2) Other business -- none
The meeting adjourned at 1:45 p.m.
