Council present: Micah Cawley, Maureen Adkison and Kathy Coffey
Staff Present: Sonya Claar Tee and Randy Beehler
Council members reviewed applications for Boards and Committees and made the following
recommendations:
Arts Commission
Cawley moved and Coffey seconded to appoint Laurie Kanyer--approved by unanimous voice
vote.
Charter Civil Service
Coffey moved and Cawley seconded to appoint (Charter Civil Service Employee elected) Greg
Lighty--approved by unanimous voice vote.
Yakima Historic Preservation Commission
Cawley moved and Coffey seconded to appoint Jane Freitag --approved by unanimous voice
vote.
SE Community Center
Coffey moved and Cawley seconded to appoint Melissa Furneaux--approved by unanimous
voice vote.
Yakima Housing Authority
Cawley moved and Coffey seconded to appoint Bob Ponti and to determine if the Housing
Authority approved of appointing Richard Fagundes--approved by unanimous voice vote.
