Arts Commission – 4 year term (2 upcoming vacancies)

o David Lynx, Larson Gallery – confirmed by Council (reapplied)

Requirements: f our to six community members, of which at least three shall be residents of
the city of Yakima. The community members shall be from diverse backgrounds and shall
have no vested interest in any particular art or cultural endeavor

Requirements: t he commission shall always include at least three professionals who have
experience in identifying, evaluating, and protecting historic resources and are selected from

historic preservation, planning, folklore, cultural anthropology, prehistoric and historic
archaeology, American studies, curation, traditional building crafts, the practice of historic
rehabilitation or resto ration, finance and banking, law, and real estate, or related disciplines.
