1) Review applications for vacancies on various City Boards & Committees
Planning Commission - 2 vacancies – unexpired terms end 6/30/18 (six-year term)

Requirements: must be a City resident or 2) an owner of a business or real property that is
located within the City of Yakima Term Limitations: Two consecutive, may serve again after
2 years from end of second term.
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee - 2 vacancies (two-year term)
One vacancy for A) a member who is a representatives of businesses r equired to collect
lodging tax, a nd B) one vacancy for a member involved in activities authorized to be funded
by the revenue received from the lodging tax. Persons eligible for appointment u nder A are
not eligible for appointment under B. Persons eligible for appointment under B are not eligible
for appointment under A. No term limits.
