The next meeting will be a City Council Strategic Planning Retreat on March 17, 2018, at 9 a.m. in
the City Training Facility

voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs
expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the
Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other

A Council packet is available for review at the City Clerk's Office and the Library. A packet is
also available on-line at www.yakimawa.gov.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or
language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the

discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if approved,

A. Approve payment of disbursements for the period February 1 — 28, 2018
B. Set April 3, 2018 as the date for a closed record public hearing to consider the Hearing
Examiner's recommendation regarding an application submitted by Diep Miller to rezone
one parcel at 513 W Washington Ave from Two -Family Residential to Multi -Family
Residential
C. Set April 3, 2018 as the date for an open record public hearing to consider the Hearing
Examiner's recommendation regarding a right of way petition to vacate a portion of
Roosevelt Ave that extends east of 18th Ave to the Powerhouse Canal Trail
D. Set April 17, 2018 as the date for an open record public hearing to consider the Hearing
Examiner's recommendation regarding a right of way petition to vacate a portion of
Midvale Rd that extends west of S 64th Ave
E. Resolution authorizing open cruising events to be held on June 9, June 16, July 14,
August 11, September 8 and September 15, 2018
7. Public Comment
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business meeting
agenda. A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as much opportunity as
possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at the discretion of the Mayor
and/or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written communication and e-mail messages are strongly
encouraged.

10. Closed record public hearing and Ordinance to consider the Yakima Planning Commission's
recommendation regarding a rezone application submitted by Supercold Storage LLC for
property at 1415 River Road

11. Resolution authorizing an Agreed Order with the Department of Ecology related to
environmental clean-up of the Cascade Mill site land fill property
12. Ordinance amending the Yakima Municipal Code, Ch. 9.50, Parking and Rules of the Road,
and Ch. 9.60, Enforcement, adding a prohibition of parking a motor vehicle in front of a mailbox
