Here is the relevant WAC, it's pretty all encompassing. k�J
It's WAC 480-14-040(1 ):
"The term "common carrier" means any person who
.undertakes to transport property, including general
commodities, materials transported by armored car
service, and/or hazardous materials, for the general
public by motor vehicle for compensation, including
under individual contracts or agreements.."
,General commodities is literally anything, so in the case
you're talking about, the food being delivered would be a
"general commodity." WAC 480-14 is all of the Common
Carrier rules if you wanted to read further.
