ITEM TITLE: Recognition of Senior Engineer, Bob Desgrosellier, receiving the
Dick Andrews Award from the Washington Chapter of the American
Public Works Association

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Brett Sheffield and Scott Schafer will be recognizing Bob Desgrosellier, City Senior Engineer,
for receiving the Dick Andrews Award, for his involvement with the American Public Works
Association (APWA).
The Dick Andrews Award recognizes an individual who exemplifies qualities of leadership,
mentoring, encouragement and serving behind the scenes without seeking recognition for himself
as selected by the Board. Dick Andrews (1943 - 2014), was a long time Washington State
Chapter member of APWA, Board Member and Past -President. He died on October 1, 2014
after losing a hard-fought battle with an aggressive cancer. Rich Perteet, Dick's employer for
many years, noted: "This guy Andrews lives and breathes APWA."
