Arthur motioned to remove item 1A from the agenda. Tiffany seconded the motion. a. Unanimous approval. 2. Tiffany motioned to approve the meeting minutes from July 10, 2017 with a date change to reflect July 10 rather than June 26. Laura seconded the motion. a. Unanimous approval. 3. Old Business a. Sara updated the committee on the approval procedure for conducting a community survey. i. The committee may need to rethink conducting the surveys digitally in order to comply with the Public Records Act. Sara will do a bit more research, but the committee is willing to conduct the survey using paper instead. ii. The Historic Preservation Committee will have a booth at the Farmers Market on August 13 and September 10. The Committee could try to coordinate working with them to conduct the survey at the booth. iii. After the committee approves the survey, Sara will forward it to all necessary parties for a quick review. b. Revision of survey i. Anita will translate the survey into Spanish after it is approved by the City Manager. iii. Arthur motioned to approve the survey revisions. Laura seconded the motion. 1. Unanimous approval. 4. New Business a. Arthur motioned to move remaining items under Old Business and New Business to the next committee meeting on August 7, 2017. Laura seconded the motion. i. Unanimous approval. 5.
