L. Resolution authorizing a Right -of -Way Use Permit for a gate in the alley between N Front
Street and Staff Sgt. Pendleton Way
M. Resolution authorizing an Interlocal Agreement with Yakima School District No. 7 for the
continuation of the school resource officer program during the 2017-2018 school year for
$858,886 with Yakima School District reimbursing $644,164
N. Resolution authorizing a contract with Rural Community Development Resources
(RCDR) in the amount of $50,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
funds to provide technical assistance to microenterprise businesses
7. Public Comment
Community members are invited to address items that are not listed on the regular business meeting
agenda. A guideline of three (3) minutes per speaker is in place in order to allow as much opportunity as
possible for audience participation. A speaker's time may be extended at the discretion of the Mayor
and/or the consensus or vote of the Council. Written communication and e-mail messages are strongly
encouraged.
DEPARTMENT ITEMS
8. Ordinance amending the Municipal Code Section 11.04.030, Schedule of fees and building
valuation, to reflect the current fees charged to residents for plan reviews, building permits and
other related fees shall be by fee resolution
9. Ordinance amending the Municipal Code Section 11.32.106.5.2 to reflect the current fees
charged to residents for mechanical permits shall be set by fee resolution
10. Ordinance amending the Municipal Code Section 11.44.040 to reflect the current fees charged
to residents for plumbing permits shall be set by fee resolution
11. Resolution adopting a fee schedule for Plumbing, Mechanical and Building Permit Fees for the
City of Yakima
12. Resolution authorizing execution of a Community Economic Revitalization Board (CERB)
Planning Grant Agreement for funds to evaluate real estate options for the establishment of a
Yakima Business Incubator and Public Market

Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the
voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs
expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the
Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other
speaker.
A Council packet is available for review at the City Clerk's Office and the Library. A packet is
also available on-line at wwwyakimawa.gov.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or
language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact
the City Clerk's office at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting.
