Community Integration Exploratory Committee
Meeting

Agenda
1. Welcome and Introduction (5 min)
A. Ice breakers. ( it was suggested at this time that the committee should get to
know each other just a bit more before meetings and spend 5 to 10 minutes
talking with each other and getting to know one another two better the
committee)
2. Approval of Minutes- (5 min)
3. Old Business ( 60 min)
A. Good of the order. ( at this time if Committee Member can’t speak on behalf
of the good of the order)
4. New Business. (30 min.)
A. Discussion and feedback on the downtown Summer Night event.
B. Reviewing surveys and comparing them amongst ourselves and seeing what kind of
trend is happening here in Yakima based on the 35 to 40 surveys that are completed.
C. Discussion on September’s Viva La Musica event.
D. Discussion on brainstorming ideas to support the committee should be a permanent
committee and outline some events or things that the permanent committee can do.
E. Discussion on brainstorming a executive order on how a full-time committee should be
ran.
F. Good of the order( any Committee Member can speak on behalf of go to the order)
5. Public Participation (10-20 min)
A. At this time we like to welcome community members to attend our meeting
to participate in a Questions, Answers, Comments and Concerns
