For Meeting of: August 1, 2017 ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for Tri Valley Construction - Project 2445 DI D #29 Reroute (Standard Motion V- B -Accept the project and approve the final payment) SUBMITTED BY: Mike Price - Wastewater/Stormwater Manager 509.249.6815 Randy Meloy - Surface Water Engineer 509.576.6606 Scott Schafer - Director of Public Works SUMMARY EXPLANATION: City Project 2445 provided for the installation of storm drain pipe and a catch basin, as well as other related work in relocating a section of old drainage improvement district (DI D) pipe. The City contracted with Tri Valley Construction to perform the construction work on this project. A final contract payment of $2,288.84 (5% retainage) is due from the City to Tri Valley Construction for the performed work and to finalize the project. Project Manager: Randy Meloy Contractor: Tri Valley Construction Contract Awarded: 10/27/2016 Final Contract Payment (5% Retainage) Due: $2,288.84 Total Contract Cost: $49,530.40 The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs.
