21/WEREAS, the Takima Yfispanic Academic Achievers Program (IAM) is
a non-profit organization locally funded through sponsors designed to provide a
springboard for.7fispanic students in Takima and V nion Gap schools to strive for a
better fife through their education; and
VI'VE ZEAS, Takima .7�AAP is a collaborative effort of students, educators,
parents, and community leaders; and
WY EREAS, Takima YfAM's aim is to improve the academic performance
of ifispanic students in our schools; and
VI'VE ,EARS, Takima JfAAP has served thousands of students in grades 6
through 12 and has enabled students to pursue post -secondary opportunities since
the inception of YfAM,
