ITEM TITLE: Recognition of Susan Knotts, Purchasing Buyer 2, awarded Buyer
of the Year for Washington State

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Susan Knotts, Buyer 2 for the combined City of Yakima/Yakima County Purchasing office, has
been named Buyer of the Year by the Washington State Chapter of the National Institute of
Governmental Purchasing (WANT GP). Susan was presented with a plaque marking the
accomplishment during ceremonies held in Olympia at the State Capitol last month during
WANIGP's Excellence in Procurement Summit.
