R-2007- 34 A RESOLUTION declaring accumulated various rolling stock vehicles and construction equipment surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima, and authorizing their sale in a manner most beneficial to the City of Yakima. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns various rolling stock vehicles and construction equipment (reference enclosed two page listing) for which the City has no immediate or foreseeable use and which are surplus to the needs of the City; and WHEREAS, the above mentioned equipment is creating a congestion problem at the Public Works Department complex, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the City to dispose of said rolling stock vehicles and construction equipment, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: The City Council hereby declares the aforementioned various rolling stock vehicles and construction equipment to be surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell said equipment in a manner most beneficial to the City of Yakima. th ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 20 day of March, 2007.
