SUBMITTED BY: Richard Wonner, Fleet and Facilities Manager CONTACT PERSON/TELEPHONE: Richard Wonner, 576-6412 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: Yakima Transit recently placed six (6) new transit buses into service replacing older buses, those beyond their anticipated life of twelve years. Therefore, five (5) buses are no longer required to fill the current needs of Yakima Transit and should be removed from the fleet. In a previous Council Action, June 27, 2006, two old buses were approved for sale to Asotin County PTBA. Combining the two actions effectively removes a total of seven buses from service.
