A RESOLUTION fixing November 8, 2005 at 8:30 a.m. as a time and date for a hearing on
the final assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 1056.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima adopted Resolution No. 2004-
74 on May 4th, 2004, declaring its intention to order certain local improvements and to create
a local improvement district; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, and after due
consideration the Council adopted Ordinance No. 2004-35, ordering the improvements and
creating Local Improvement District No. 1056 ("L.I.D. No. 1056"); and
WHEREAS, the County and the City agree that having the sewer mainline project
constructed in combination with the County's road improvement project is mutually
beneficial; and
WHEREAS, construction of the improvements within L.I.D. No. 1056 is now
complete and the assessment roll for L.I.D. No. 1056 will be filed with the City Clerk, now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
A hearing on the final assessment roll shall be held at 8:30 a.m. on November 1,
2005, in the Council Chambers in Yakima, Washington. All persons who may desire to
object to such improvements are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at
such hearing. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing with the date
of the second publication to be at least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing, and to
mail a notice of such hearing at least fifteen days before the date thereof, to each owner or
reputed owner of any lot, tract, parcel of land, or other property in L.I.D. No. 1056 at the
address shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
This project consisted of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment required to construct
3500 linear feet of new 8" PVC sanitary sewer in 7th, 8th and 9th Avenues between Mead Avenue
and Spokane Street with 1560 linear feet of 4" side sewers and 400 tons of hot mix asphalt for
roadway overlay.
Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be
accepted.
This Council action is to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
