A RESOLUTION fixing the time and place for hearings on June 28, and July 5, 2005 in the
City of Yakima Council Chambers on the Six Year Transportation
Improvement Program for the period of 2006 through 2011.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima annually prepares, reviews and adopts a Six Year
Program for the construction of streets and arterial streets in the City of Yakima for the
ensuing six year period, all as contemplated and required by State and Federal law; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing must be held on said program before final approval,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
That said program shall be presented for hearing and determination on Tuesday,
June 28th & July 5th, 2005, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m. on said days, in the Council
Chambers of the City of Yakima, at Yakima City Hall, Yakima, Washington, or as soon
thereafter as the same may be heard, and that notice of such hearing be given as approved
by law.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Set the date of the public hearing's for the 2006-2011 Six Year Transportation Improvement
Program (TIP) for June 28th & July 5th, 2005.
Each year the City is required by RCW 35.77.010 and RCW 36.81.121 to update its Six Year
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for submittal to the Washington State
Department of Transportation. This plan must include all transportation projects for which
state gas tax revenue or federal revenue will be used.
