R-2004- 147 A RESOLUTION declaring a 1991 Isuzu Step -van, License number 08350D to be surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima and the Water Department, and authorizing the sale of the truck by whatever means determined to be appropriate by the City Manager, such as "e -bay", local auction, or sealed bid. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns one used 1991 Isuzu Step -van with license number 08350D and vehicle identification number JALB4T1HOM700406 for which the City and the Water Department have no immediate or foreseeable use and which are surplus to the needs of the City and the Water Department; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the City to sell said Step -van by whatever means determined appropriate by the City Manager, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: The City Council hereby declares the aforementioned 1991 Isuzu Step -van License number 08350D to be surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima and the Water Department, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to sell said Step -van by whatever means he determines to be appropriate such as "e -bay", local auction, or sealed bid. This Department would like to offer the vehicle for auction or sale by a means deemed appropriate by the City Manager, such as "e -bay", local auction or sealed bid. Funds realized from the sale will be credited to the Yakima Water Department's equipment replacement account (Capital Fund).
