A RESOLUTION declaring a seized cargo trailer surplus and authorizing the sale of
said trailer owned by the City.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns confiscated property for which property is
surplus property, for which property should be sold by formal sealed bid, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The City Manager of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to dispose of
confiscated property, owned by the City by selling said property by formal sealed bid.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 26th day of November, 2002.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION: Request for resolution declaring a seized 2001 Great Dane
cargo trailer surplus and authorizing disposal of trailer by formal sealed bid process. The
trailer was confiscated on June 10, 2002. This trailer is of no use to the Police Dept. The
opening bid amount will be $20,000 for the formal sealed bid.
