The Transit Division has four 1986 Gillig 35 -foot buses (Vehicle Numbers ER 7061, ER 7062,
ER 7064, and ER 7066) which have been replaced with new buses.
Staff recommends that these four (4) buses be declared surplus and sold via the formal
sealed bid process. It is anticipated that four additional Gillig coaches will be "retired" by the
end of the year. At that time a new request to declare surplus will be brought before City
Council.
