A RESOLUTION setting June 24, 2002 as the date to reopen the public hearing before
the Hearing Examiner's recommendation on the Congdon
Orchards rezone application, solely for the purpose of taking public
testimony on the conditions recommended by the Hearing
Examiner in his recommended action.
WHEREAS, on May 21, 2002, the City Council remanded the Congdon Orchards
rezone to the Hearing Examiner to reopen the public hearing, solely for the purpose of
taking public testimony on the conditions recommended by the Hearing Examiner in
his recommended action, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
June 24, 2002 is set as the date to reopen the public hearing by the Hearing
Examiner on the Hearing Examiner's recommendation on the Congdon Orchards
rezone application, solely for the purpose of taking public testimony on the conditions
recommended by the Hearing Examiner in his recommended action.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Yakima, Washington, at a regular
meeting thereof held this 4th day of June 2002.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Hearing Examiner has requested that the Council set June 24, 2002 as the
date to reopen the Public Hearing on the Hearing Examiner's Recommendation
on the Congdon Orchards rezone application. The re -opening of the public
hearing is solely for the purpose of taking public testimony on the conditions
recommended by the Hearing Examiner in his Recommendation. The resolution
also requests that the Hearing Examiner's Final Recommendation be submitted
to the City Council no later than July 5, 2002.
