SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Upon reviewing the adequacy of change/petty cash funds, increases are warranted in several areas:
• Municipal Court is adding a cash drawer with $150.
• The Senior Center is increasing its change fund from $25 to $100.
• Lions, Eisenhower and Franklin Pools are increasing their change funds from $25 to $50.
• Animal Control is establishing three change funds of $50 each to allow officers to sell dog licenses in
the field. (This adds "points of sale" for dog licenses, Section 3 of the Resolution authorizes this
new activity.)
• Wastewater is requesting an increase in petty cash from $150 to $200.
The attached resolution lists all of the charge/petty cash funds in the City. The amounts include the
modifications noted above.
