For Meeting of: December 13, 2016 ITEM TITLE: Set Public Hearing for January 17, 2017, at 6:30 p.m. to declare property surplus to the City needs SUBMITTED BY: Scott Schafer, Director of Public Works David Brown, Water/Irrigation Manager, 509-575-6204 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: Set a public hearing for January 17, 2017, to declare approximately 2,000 square feet of property, triangular in shape, located at the corner of Fechter Road and Castlevale Road, as surplus to the City needs. This property was deeded to the City on or about May 7, 2015, for irrigation facilities and irrigation purposes to use at the Catalyss development to install pumps for a City operated irrigation system. Catalyss, LLC has since determined that they want to own and operate this particular irrigation system and the City no longer has a need for this property and irrigation system.
