A RESOLUTION fixing a time and date for a hearing on the final assessment roll for
Local Improvement District No. 1053.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Yakima adopted Resolution No. R-95-142
on October 17, 1995, declaring its intention to order certain local improvements and to
create a local improvement district; and
WHEREAS, a hearing was held on November 7, 1995, and after due consideration
the Council adopted Ordinance No. 95-59, ordering the improvements and creating Local
Improvement District No. 1053 ("LID No. 1053"); and
WHEREAS, construction of the improvements within LID No. 1053 is now
complete and the assessment roll for LID No. 1053 has been filed with the City Clerk, now
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
A hearing on the final assessment roll shall be held at 2:00 p.m. on January 7, 1997,
in the Council Chambers in Yakima, Washington. All persons who may desire to object to
such improvements are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at such
hearing. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing with the date of
the second publication to be at least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing, and to
mail a notice of such hearing at least fifteen days before the date thereof, to each owner or
reputed owner of any lot, tract, parcel of land, or other property in LID No. 1053, at the
address shown on the tax rolls of the County Treasurer.

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Council action is to set the date of the final assessment roll hearing for
January 7, 1997. The final costs and assessments will be submitted to the Council
at that time.
