For Meeting of: October 18, 2016 ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance for KRCI, LLC - Project 2344 Lincoln Avenue Corridor Safety (Standard Motion V -B- Accept the project and approve) SUBMITTED BY: Brett Sheffield - Chief Engineer - 509 - 576 -6797 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: This project (City Project No.: 2344) includes improvements on Lincoln Avenue by constructing sidewalks north of Lincoln in various locations from 16th Avenue to 32nd Avenue, constructing ADA compliant curb ramps, repairing areas of damaged sidewalk, replacing signal heads at Lincoln Avenue & 5th Avenue and Lincoln Avenue and 16th Avenue, constructing a pedestrian crossing signal near Robertson Elementary School, and improving the signage for the Pierce Avenue couplet, and is paid in full with federal Highway Safety Improvement Program funds. Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. This Council action is to accept the project.
