For Meeting of: October 4, 2016 ITEM TITLE: Set date of November 1, 2016, for a closed record public hearing to consider the Yakima Planning Commission's recommendation regarding an application submitted by Khushdip Hans for an 18 -lot preliminary plat, known as Vista Ridge, in the vicinity of S. 72nd Ave & Easy Street SUBMITTED BY: Joan Davenport, AICP, Community Development Director Trevor Martin, Associate Planner SUMMARY EXPLANATION: On September 8, 2016 the City of Yakima Planning Commission rendered its recommendation on an application submitted by Khushdip Hans for an 18 -lot preliminary plat, known as Vista Ridge, in the vicinity of South 72nd Avenue and Easy Street. This application seeks approval to subdivide a lot which is approximately 4.96 acres in size into 18 single - family lots ranging in size from 8,500 sq. ft. to 10,200 sq. ft. The property is located within the Single - Family Residential (R- 1) zoning district. The Yakima Planning Commission public hearing was held on August 24, 2016.
