ITEM TITLE: Set September 20, 2016, as the date for a public hearing to
consider a resolution and development agreement with Storage
Investments LLC for development of a multi -phase mini - storage
facility located at 8102 and 8104 Nob Hill Boulevard

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The principals of Storage Investments LLC (David Hoeger & Teresa Donovan) have requested
that the Yakima City Council set September 20, 2016, as the date of a public hearing to consider
a development agreement and resolution to vest their previously approved land use decisions
(CL3 #003 -13 & MOD #002 -15) for a multi -phase mini - storage complex, to allow for a greater
development timeframe.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Set September 20, 2016, as the date for a public hearing before the Yakima City Council to
consider a development agreement and resolution to allow future development of a previously
approved multi -phase mini - storage complex.
BOARD /COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION:
The City of Yakima Hearing Examiner approved the subject development (multi -phase mini -
storage) on February 10, 2014. The Development Agreement was a condition of approval which
requires City Council action.
