ITEM TITLE: Council Nominating Committee recommendations for appointment
SUBMITTED BY: Bill Lover, Chair of the Council Nominating Committee
SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
The Council Nominating Committee met on June 9 and 16, 2016, and recommends the
following:
Planning Commission
Reappoint Patricia Byers and Al Rose. Appoint either Shannon Bird or Tom
Trepanier to the vacancy.
Arts Commission
Ratify Museum appointment of Andy Granitto and Season's appointment of Jason Kildall. Appoint
Stephanie Clevenger and Reappoint Melissa Labberton and Noel Moxley.
Board of Appeals
Reappoint Barbara Cline, Jim Johnston and James Fickel.
Community Review Board
Reappoint Dinah Reed.
Lodging Tax Advisory Committee
Appoint Wanda Reil as a representative of a business required to collect lodging tax and Greg
Lybeck (SunDome) as a representative involved in activities authorized to be funded by the
revenue received from the lodging tax.
Parks & Recreation Committee
Reappoint Matt Tweedy and Jo Miles.
Public Facilities District
Reappoint Angie Girard.
SE Community Center
Reappoint Melissa Furneaux.
Yakima Historic Preservation Commission
Appoint Molly Storrs.
