ORDINANCE NO :2,23 AY ORDINANCE amending Sub-Section P and repealing Sub-Seetion T of Section 88 of Ordinance No. B-1526,, entitled, "Kff ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation-and their incidents upon the street and other ways open to the public; prescribing the powers and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offenses; providing penalties, and repealing Ordinance No. B-131 and all other amendments therefor and all other ordinances in so far as they are in conflict therewith," as amended, and declaring an emergency, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. That Sub-Section (P) of Section 88 of Ordinance No B-1526 is hereby amended to read as follows, to-wit: "Section 88. PARKING OR ANGLE PARKING TIME LIMITED IN CERTAIN PLACES, AND PROHIBITED IN OTHERS© (p) Prosecutions, It shall be the duty of the Chief of Pollee, or such other official of the City of Yakima as may be delegated authority over standing violations, to keep account of all violations of Sections 83 through • 93 of this ordinance, and; (1) Report the number of each parking meter which indicates that the vehicle occupying the adjacent parking space is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance. (2) Report the license number of such vehicle, (3) Report any other facts, a knowledge of which is n to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation. (4) Attach to such vehicle a notice that it has been parked in violation of this ordinance and instrueting the owner or operator to report at the Police Station of the City of Yakima such other place in the City where such violations may be reported, in regard to such violation within twenty-four hours." Section 2. That Sub-Section (T) of Section 88 of Ordinance Re. B-1526 is hereby repealed. Section 1. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediatv preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the people of the City of Yakima v and an emergency is hereby declared to -1- . , 411 411 exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law and by the City Charter.
