A RESOLUTION of the City of Yakima, Washington, adopting the 2025 Master Fee
Schedule.
WHEREAS, the City of Yakima has adopted a Master Fee Schedule to consolidate the
various rates, fees, and charges imposed by the City; and
WHEREAS, and the City Council has adopted by Resolution changes in the fees that
need to be reflected in the Master Fee Schedule and adopt a fee schedule for fees for the City
of Yakima; and
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Yakima finds that it is in the best interest of
the City and its residents to adopt the 2025 Master Fee Schedule which reflects the fees
associated with the services found therein; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
The 2025 Master Fee Schedule is hereby adopted and shall be effective January 1, 2025,
unless otherwise required by law. The 2025 Master Fee Schedule is attached as Exhibit A hereto
and fully incorporated herein.

4 Valuations for new construction shall be based on the square footage of the new construction multiplied by the fee amount per square foot
assigned to the occupancy group and type of construction outlined in Table 1-1. Permit fees and plan review fees in Table 1-2 shall apply
based on this calculated valuation. For all other work proposed, the permit fee will be based on the total value of work. Final permit
valuation shall be set by the building official.
If the valuation provided by the applicant does not include the cost of labor, then the cost of materials shall be doubled. Final permit
valuation shall be set by the building official.
Permit fees shall be calculated based on the valuation of the proposed work including, but not limited to, permits for building, plumbing,
mechanical, fire and life safety, signs, roofing, manufactured home placements, demolitions, moved structures, firework displays and
swimming pools.

State Building Code Council (SBCC) fees effective July 1, 2018:
