SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Russell McKinney of McKinney Auto Glass has applied to construct new
canopies over the City right of way and add a stucco facing to the front of the
buildings at 219 and 221 South First Street. The new canopies will project 7
feet over the right of way and the stucco facing will extend 8 inches into the
right of way. The application also includes moving an existing projecting sign,
which now requires a right of way use permit. Upon approval, a building permit
and a sign permit will be required.
The required proof of ownership and liability insurance outlined in Chapter 8.20
of the Yakima Municipal Code is on file in the Offices of Code Administration
and Planning.
