If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a "Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council. 1. Roll Call 2. Executive Session A. Executive Session to evaluate the qualifications of an applicant for public employment pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(g) 3. Public Comment (allow 15 minutes) 4. Study Session Items A. Public Hearing and Resolution to declare property rights obtained by easement to be surplus to the City's needs and dispose of such property rights to the Yakima Housing Authority B. Presentation of Draft City of Yakima Strategic Priorities for 2024-2025 C. Discussion regarding recent United States Supreme Court decision in City of Grants Pass, Oregon v. Johnson, et al. 5. Adjournment The next meeting is a City Council regular meeting on July 16, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers. Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. 1 The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings.
