Individuals who wish to provide public comment remotely may submit a Public Comment
Request Form online at: www.yakimawa.gov/council/public-comment no later than two hours
prior to the start of the meeting. If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a
"Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council.

meetings, and June 18, 2024 City Council regular meeting and June 25, 2024 study session

B. Project Completion and Contract Closeout Acceptance with CXT Incorporated for Miller Park
Restroom, Project 12124S
C. Resolution setting July 25, 2024, as the date for an open record public hearing before the
Hearing Examiner to vacate a portion of N. 68th Avenue
D. Resolution authorizing an agreement with Washington State Department of Commerce for
grant funding for the construction of the Aquatic Center at Martin Luther King Jr. Park
E. Resolution authorizing acceptance of an amendment and Memorandum of Understanding and
Engagement with Mid-Columbia Fisheries Enhancement Group for Riparian Restoration in
Support of City's Bridge and William O. Douglas Trail
F. Resolution authorizing acceptance of the Washington State Department of Archaeology and
Historic Preservation grant award for The Capitol Theatre elevator rehabilitation
G. Resolution authorizing acceptance of a Department of Transportation State Funding grant
award for Wide Hollow Creek Pedestrian Bridge Improvement Project

A. Public hearing to consider: A) Resolution adopting the Six-Year Transportation Improvement
Program for the period of 2025 through 2030, and to amend the Transportation Systems Plan
2040; and B) Resolution amending the Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan Capital

A. Resolution adding July 27, 2024 as a day when cruising shall be permitted under YMC
9.25.020
B. Ordinance amending the 2024 Budget for the City of Yakima and making appropriations from
unappropriated fund balances within various funds for expenditure during 2024 for various
purposes (First Reading)

The next meeting is a City Council study session on July 9, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. in the City Hall
Council Chambers.
13. Council General Information
A. Preliminary Council Agendas for the July 9, 2024 study session and July 16, 2024 regular
meeting
Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary
offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the
invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council
does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker.
The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language
interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office
at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting. A Council packet is available for
