If you wish to provide public comment in-person, fill out a "Request for Appearance" form and hand it to the City Clerk before you address City Council. 1. Roll Call 2. Pledge of Allegiance 3. Public Comment There will be 35 minutes allotted for public comment with two and a half(2 1/2) minutes per speaker in order to allow as much opportunity as possible for audience participation. Consent Agenda Items listed are considered routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion without discussion. A Council member may request to remove an item from the Consent Agenda and, if approved, it will be placed on the regular agenda for discussion and consideration. A. Approval of City Council minutes from the May 21, 2024 regular meeting and May 28, 2024 study session B. 2024 1st Quarter Financial Update C. Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with CP Mechanical LLC for YPD Chiller Replacement Project 2607 1 D. Resolution setting date of June 18, 2024 to review and adopt the Six-year Transportation Improvement Program and Capital Facilities Element of the Yakima Urban Area Comprehensive Plan E. Resolution setting date of June 25, 2024 for a public hearing to declare property rights obtained by easement to be surplus to the City needs and dispose of such property rights to the Yakima Housing Authority F. Resolution authorizing the Sole Source purchase of an Ion Chromatograph from Metrohm USA, Inc. for the City of Yakima Wastewater Treatment Plant Laboratory 8. Public Hearings 9. Department Items A. Resolution appointing the City Engineer as authorized signor of Washington State Department of Transportation documents B. Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute a Collective Bargaining Agreement with Teamsters Local 760 representing the Public Works Division Managers Unit for January 1, 2024 - December 31, 2027 10. Council General Information A. Preliminary Council agendas for the June 11, 2024 study session, June 14 & 15, 2024 special meetings and June 18, 2024 regular meeting B. Yakima County agreement with American Medical Response (AMR)for ambulance services C. Distribution of the Complete Record for the Right-of-Way Vacation (RWV#001-23) proposed by Corporation of the Catholic Bishop of Yakima Any invocation that may be offered before the official start of the Council meeting shall be the voluntary offering of a private citizen, to and for the benefit of the Council. The views or beliefs expressed by the invocation speaker have not been previously reviewed or approved by the Council, and the Council does not endorse the religious beliefs or views of this, or any other speaker. The City provides special accommodations, such as hearing devices, wheelchair space or language interpreters, for City meetings. Anyone needing special assistance please contact the City Clerk's office at (509) 575-6037 at least two business days prior to the meeting.
