ITEM TITLE: Project Completion and Contract Acceptance with CP Mechanical
LLC for YPD Chiller Replacement Project 2607

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
City of Yakima Project 2607 provided for removing and disposing of old chiller, installing new chiller and
electrical work. Final inspection for this project has been completed and project acceptance is
recommended. Project completion is subject to issuance of Certificate of Payment by the Department of
Revenue. A final retainage payment of$7,637.51 is due from the City to CP Mechanical LLC for the
completion of the work.
Project Manager: Maritza Davis
Contractor: CP Mechanical LLC
Contract Award: $ 165,969.75
Final Contract Cost: $ 165,428.25
Retainage Due: $ 7,637.51
City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs.
ITEM BUDGETED: Yes
STRATEGIC PRIORITY: Investment In Infrastructure
RECOMMENDATION: Accept Project.
