Cook, Director of Community Econornic Development CONTACT PERSON / TELEPHONE: Bruce Benson, Supervising Planner, 575-6042 SUMMARY EXPLANATION: The City of Yakima has received from Malon Ziegler, a Notice of Intent to Commence Annexation for his property located in the vicinity of 9001 Wide Hollow Road. This annexation offour parcels comprises approximately 56.73 acres of land with an assessed value of $901,050. As the sole owner of this property his notice accounts for 100 percent of the area's assessed value. At this time City Council is being asked to act upon this request and to approve the City's • Standard Motions A & Bas they pertain to annexations. Standard Motion "A" reads as follows: "I move that today, December 1;2009 be set as the time of a meeting with the initiating parties who have signed a Notice of Intent to Commence Annexation Proceedings, the initiating parties being as follows: Malon Ziegler Standard Motion "B" reads as follows:"I move that the annexation proposed by the above parties be accepted by the City of Yakima, that the area to be annexed be required to assume its share of the City's existing indebtedness, and that a Notice of Intent to Annex be filed with the Yakima County Boundary Review Board."
