ITEM TITLE: Consideration of an application by KB Enterprises, LLC for a right -of -way
use permit for a fence in the City right -of -way at 317 Union Street

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
Robert Bonser, agent for KB Enterprises LLC, the property owner, has applied to keep
a newly erected fence in the City right of way at 317 Union Street. The fence has been
placed 3 feet into the City right of way, at the southwest corner, at a distance of 7 feet
from the curb, along Pine Street, and 6 1 /2 feet into the City right of way, at the
• southeast corner, at a distance of 3' /z feet from the curb. There is no sidewalk on this
side of Pine Street. The fence has been placed behind the sidewalk along Union
Street, and is therefore not in the right of way of Union Street.
The fence does not obstruct any known utility lines.
