Final inspection for this project was made and the recommendation is that the project be accepted. A final payment of$0 is due from the City to Combined Construction Inc for the completion of this project. Project Manager: Mike Shane Contractor: Combined Construction I nc Contract Awarded on: 10/05/22 Contract Cost: $ 1,040,409.09 Final Payment Due: $ 0 Retainage Hold: $ 48,033.67 The total contract cost is for construction only and does not include engineering and other costs. City Council action is required to accept the project and approve the final construction costs. (CCI)that the Physical Completion date for this project is May 11, 2023. Physical Completion does not imply the City's acceptance of the work or the contract. Although Physical Completion has been established on the above date, the following items will be reviewed by the end of the 2 year guarantee period (General Conditions Section 3.03.5(1.1)) and possibly identified as corrective work to be addressed, apart from items to be addressed within the next few weeks: Reservoir Interior • Evaluation of mud valve anchorage • Inspection of possible debris caught at the mud valve flange interface • Inspection of the valve pin installations at both the mud valve and butterfly valve base assemblies • Inspection of the inlet/outlet pipe and fitting coatings Reservoir Exterior • Evaluation of additional required sealant to fully seal the roof to wall joint • Evaluation of additional required sealant at locations of evident sealant peeling along the roof to wall joint and along roof joints 180 Iron Horse Court Yakima,Washington 98901 (509)453-4833 3 4e10 Mr. Abraham Rodriguez May 25, 2023 Page 2 • Repair of the center hatch opening anchor bolt(to be completed by CCI within the next few weeks) • Installation of correct pins at the top assemblies of both the mud valve and butterfly valve (to be completed by CCI within the next few weeks) Sincerely, GRAY& O SB ORNE, INC.
