Impact of Handle With Care
• Large numbers of Yakima children are impacted by Domestic
Violence and various other types of violence.
• Providing appropriate, trauma-informed care for children early on is
vital.
• Knowing our students and noticing changes can make a positive
impact on their futures.
• Waiting until middle school and high school can mean the
difference between our students succeeding or struggling.
• Supporting our challenged families with resources is imperative •
