The City of Selah has submitted a letter of intent to purchase the trailer- mounted rodder. Staff respectfully requests that the 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder be declared surplus and sold to the City of Selah for the amount of $2,500. Please note that the warranty will be "AS IS." Funds realized from the sale are to be credited to the Yakima Wastewater Operating Fund 473. R -2008- A RESOLUTION declaring one 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima's Wastewater Division and authorizing the sale of such equipment to the City of Selah. WHEREAS, the City of Yakima owns one 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder with vehicle identification number D 22610 for which the City Wastewater Division has no immediate or foreseeable use and which is surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima and the Wastewater Division; and WHEREAS, the City of Yakima has received a letter confirming the intentions of the City of Selah to purchase the 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder for $2,500, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the City to declare one 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder surplus and to authorize the sale of said equipment to the City of Selah, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YAKIMA: The City Council hereby declares the aforementioned 1976 Trailer- Mounted Rockwell Sewer Rodder surplus to the needs of the City of Yakima Wastewater Division and the City Manager of the City of Yakima is hereby authorized and directed to accept the purchase of said equipment by the City of Selah as outlined in the attached and incorporated confirmation letter. ® The funds received are to be directed to the Wastewater Operating Fund 473.
