Submitted By: William Cook, Director of Community & Economic Development Contact Person /Telephone: Kevin Futrell, Assistant Planner, 509 -575 -6164 Summary Explanation: Set April 7,2009, as the date for a "Closed Record" public hearing to consider the Hearing Examiner's recommendation to approve a rezone request by Terry Morton to rezone a parcel of land, approximately 0.16 acres in size, from Two - Family Residential (R -2) to General Commercial (GC). No development proposals are included with this rezone request. The Hearing Examiner held an "Open Record" public hearing on January 22, 2009, to consider this application. On February 5, 2009, the Hearing Examiner issued his recommendation to approve the requested rezone.
