Guest: Mariah Garcia, Maude Scott, Lynne Kittelson, Mr. Ramirez 1. Discussion regarding the Cosen House (201 S 8 St) It was discussed that the appraisal date may determine the date the activity started. Various options were discussed on the Cosen House issue. The final decision made was to resell the property and repay HOME with the funds of the resale. 2. Consideration of a Right-of-Way Use permit for a fence in the vici 1 ity of West Spruce Street and South 9 Avenue. There was no decision made for the Right -of -Way Use Permit for the fence on Mr. Ramirez's property. The committee decided on gathering an inventory on all current III Right -of -Way Permits and violations. The committee also decided to have a small study group within the ONDS Committee before taking any recommendations to full Council. 3. Code E I forcement Report The 2008 Code Compliance Report is as follows: 1889 Complaint Calls 2219 First and Second Letters Mailed 4701 Site Inspections 626 Junk Vehicles The Code Department has a $20,000 grant to work along side with Yakima Police Department in their sweeps. Other Business Mariah Garcia from RCDR gave ONDS Committee a summary of the year end report describing the number of clients that were served through the 2008 contract between the City of Yakima and Rural Community Development Resources. A copy of the summary 'was submitted into the contract file. The $650,000 stimulus package is going to be primarily administered by ONDS and CED. HUD is going to require an Action Plan with what the City of Yakima plans to do with the stimulus 0 package.
