A Notice of I ntent to Annex was received on August 17, 2022 and accepted by Council on
S eptember 20, 2022. T he P etition (22-08) was drafted and signed by 100% of property owners,
as certified by the Yakima County Assessor on J anuary 6, 2023. The legal description of the
annexation area was certified by the Yakima County E ngineer on December 19, 2022. The
P rickly Pear A nnexation contains approximately 100.62 acres of land zoned S R, R-1, R-2, R-3.
