ITEM TITLE: Council retreat discussion and direction

SUMMARY EXPLANATION:
As the administration prepares for the Council annual retreat, we are asking for Council direction
on how they would like to proceed with the Council retreat this year. At last year's retreat, a
couple Council members discussed their desire to have a Council led retreat. Given that all the
planning was done last year when this item raised, we want to have a conversation if there are any
suggestions or direction on the mechanics and framework of how the retreat should be structured,
and what the Council hopes to accomplish, at the retreat this year. We are looking for direction on
a new pathway if Council so desires, or else we could proceed with something similar to last
year's process.
