O FJCF..OF f,i'T-Y..COd Nc ,
Educational Service District 105 has submitted two Head Start grants to the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services for comprehensive high quality early
learning services for children, pregnant women and their families. I am writing to
express my gratitude for your letter and/or Memorandum of Understanding
expressing support for our proposals. Your perspective and encouragement for ESD
105 will have an impact on the reviewers of our applications.
From a partnership perspective, the support you provided guided us as we developed
the applications that demonstrate high quality services for serving vulnerable
populations in our community. We are confident that we described the importance of
meaningful and targeted collaboration with community partners and stakeholders as
we will provide coordinated resources for Head Start children and families.
Even though it has been a long drawn out process, we still embrace the possibility of
a new opportunity. We know that a quality early learning experience is a gift for life.
The outcome of our applications will be determined in the spring of 2015, and we
will provide you with an update at that time. We look forward to our continued
partnership and collaboration with your organization on current services and future
opportunities. Thank you for your support. We value our partnership with you and
your organization.
