WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezon- ing of certain specific property in the City of Yakima as hereinafter more fully described, and it appearing that the Yakima Planning Commission has duly considered and recommended such changes, and there having been don - ducted a buplic hearing thereon; and it appearing to be in the beat inter- ests of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1._ That the following described property situate in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: Legal: Lot 12, Block 171 of Huson's Additbn to Yakima. The general description being 7 South 8th Street, be and the same is hereby rezoned from R -3 Multiple Family Residential to B -3 General Business Zone. Section 2. That the following described property situate in the City of Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit: Legal: Lot 3 and 4, Block 26, City of North Yakima. The general description being 406 North Second St., be and the same is hereby rezoned from R -3 Multiple Family Residential to B -2 Bocal Business Zone. Section 3. The above changes in zoning shall be included and depicted on the next regularly amended use District Mapxrepared by and for said City. Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and dir- ected to file with the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance. Section 5. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, and safety and an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage, approval and pub- lication as provided b~ law and the City Charter.
