AN ORDINANCE rezoning certain specific property situate in the City of Yakima, County of
Yakima, Washington; and declaring an emergency.
WHEREAS, the City Commission has duly considered the rezoning of certain
specific property in the City of Yakima as hereinafter more fully described, and it app-
earing that the City Planning Commission has duly considered and recommended such change,
and there having been conducted a public hearingthereon; and it appearing to be in the
best interests of the City of Yakima to so rezone said premises, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA:
Section 1. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Block 268, Syndicate Subdivision, and Lots 11, 12, and 13,
Block 268, Ker's Second Addition;
be and the same is hereby rezoned from R -3 zone to 3 -3 zone.
Section 2. That the following described property situate in the City of
Yakima, County of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
South 150 feet of North 189.75 feet of East 125 feet of West
155 feet of Southwest Quarter, Southeast Quarter, Section 13,
Township 13, Range 18.
be and the same is hereby rezoned from R -3 zone to B -2 zone.
Section 3. The above changes in zoning shall be included and depicted on
the next regularly amended use District Map prepared by and for the said City.
Section 4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file with
the Yakima County Auditor a certified copy of this Ordinance.
Section 5. This ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation
of the public peace, property, health , and safety, and an emergency is hereby decl' ed
to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its pass-
age, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 13 day of February,
1958.
