HomeMy WebLinkAbout1957-B-2068 rG® ORDINANCE N0 B -2068 AN ORDINANCE relating to intoxicating liquors, prohibiting the manufacture, sale, and /or other disposition thereof in the City of Yakima except in certain cases; providing penalties for the violation thereof and amending Ordinance No. B- 326. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA: Section 1. Section 24 of Ordinance No. B -326 is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 24. Closing Hours: Sunday Closing. No beer or wine shall be sold, delivered, removed from the premises, offered for sale, served or consumed upon any licensed premises upon the day of any general, special or primary election of any state, county or municipal officers within the State, dist- rict, county or municipal corporation in which such election is held, during the his the polls are open, nor between the hours of twelve o'clock midnight on Saturday and six o'clock A.M. on the following Monday, nor upon any week- day between the hours of two o'clock A.M. and six o'clock A.M." Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective 30 days after is passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the. City Charter.
