ORDINANCE NO. B -2040
AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating traffic, travel and transportation and their in-
cidents upon the streets and other ways open to the public; prescribing the
powers and duties of officers and others in relation thereto; defining offen-
ses; providing penalties; amending Ordinance No. B -1526 adopted by the City
Commission on the 31st day of December, 1953; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF YAKIWIA:
11 Section 1. Subsection C of Section 134 of Chapter 16 of Ordinance No. B -1526
being also Subsection C of Section 134 of Section 10 -201 of Chapter 2 of Title 10 of the
Revised Code of Yakima adopted August 29, 1956, by Ordinance No. B-1864, is hereby repeal-
ed.
Section 2. Subsection D of Section 134 of Chapter 16 or Ordinance No. B -1526
being Subsection D of Section 134 of Chapter 16 of Section 10 -20 of Chapter 2 of Title 10
of the Revised Code of the City of Yakima adopted August 29, 1956, by Ordinance No. B -1864
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance is one to provide for the immediate preservation
of the Public peace, property, health and safety and an emergency is hereby declared to
exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage,
a pproval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 20th day of June,
1957.
