ORDINANCE NO. B -2031
AN ORDINANCE providing for the annexation by the City, of Yakima, Washington, of certain
property contiguous to the City of Yakima, Washington.
WHEREAS, proceedings have been -had in accordance with Chapter 128 of the
Laws of 1945, for the annexation of the property hereinafter described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINFn, BY THE CITY OF YAKIMA-:
Section 1. That the following described territory contiguous to the City
of Yakima, Washington, to -wit:
Beginning at the NE corner of the Ei, W2, El NE4, SW4 of Section 22, Town-
ship 13 North, Range 18, E.W.M.; thence southerly along the East line of
said subdivision to the center line of West Chestnut Street; thence wester-
ly along the center line of West Chestnut Street to the center line of 42nd
Avenue, also known as Crestway; thence northerly along the center line of
42nd Avenue to the center line of Mary Lin Drive; thence northwesterly 95
feet, more or less, along the center line of "`ary Lin Drive to the center
line of Crestway; thence North along the center line-of Crestway to the Cen-
ter line of Summitview Avenue; thence East along the center line of Summit -
. view Avenue to the point of beginning.
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Yakima.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby to file a certified copy of
this Ordinance with the,Board of County Commissioners of Yakima County, Washington.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall became effective immediately upon its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law and the City Charter.
PASSED BY THE CITY COMMISSION, signed and approved this 27th day of May,
1957.
